ABOUT MIKE TURNPENNY
Helping you create a calmer mind, stronger habits and a better life.
I've always been fascinated by what helps people live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
That curiosity has taken me around the world, living, teaching and learning from incredible people, cultures and experiences. Along the way, one thing has become increasingly clear to me: while every person is different, lasting change is often much simpler than we make it out to be. It rarely comes from dramatic transformations or waiting for motivation. It comes from practical habits, consistent choices and learning how to work with ourselves rather than against ourselves.
Over the years I've had the privilege of coaching and teaching yoga, fitness, breathwork, cold exposure and mindfulness to people from many different countries, cultures and walks of life. I've worked with complete beginners, business professionals managing high levels of stress, athletes looking to improve performance, and individuals and teams simply searching for a healthier, more balanced way to live.
Despite our different backgrounds, many of us face remarkably similar challenges. We want to feel calmer, healthier, more confident and more present. We want to manage stress better, build habits that last and create a life that feels more aligned with who we want to become.
That's what everything I offer today is built around.
I don't believe my role is to tell people how to live their lives. It's to ask better questions, provide practical tools, offer honest support and help people find solutions that genuinely work for them.
While therapy and coaching can complement one another, they serve different purposes. Therapy can help people understand and work through the past. My role as a coach is different. I'm not here to diagnose or provide therapy. I'm here to help you understand where you are today, clarify where you'd like to go next and support you in bridging that gap.
Most of us already know we should move more, breathe better, manage stress, sleep well and take care of ourselves. The challenge isn't usually knowing what to do. It's finding realistic ways to put that knowledge into practice in the middle of a busy, sometimes unpredictable life.
That's why I don't see coaching, breathwork, mindfulness and movement as completely separate things. I see them as different tools. Depending on what you need, we might focus on one or combine several to create an approach that works for you and your life.
There are no generic programmes, quick fixes or impossible expectations. I believe in practical action over endless information and small improvements repeated consistently over time.
Whether we work together for a single session or over several months, my goal is the same: to help you leave with greater clarity and confidence, and practical strategies that continue supporting you long after our sessions have finished.
